2 Rising Stars of Cannabinoids

Let’s face it. By now, the majority of us are aware that Pharmaceutical Companies were not designed to heal us in any way. No, indeed! To them, we are nothing but dollar signs. They feed us poisons that may slap a band-aid on one ailment (caused by man-made toxins), only to create side effects that will make us need another one of their concoctions, which will lead to another and another in a never-ending cycle. Are you waking up yet? Have you come to terms with the fact the medical industry works with the alphabet soup agencies to bleed us dry of our finances until we are no longer worthy to them? Are you starting to question WHY the alphabet soup likes to smear and/or ban natural remedies and make us fear what could happen if we DARE try to heal ourselves? If not, it’s about time you do!

With that being said, how about we look into two cannabinoids that are becoming rising stars in the world of cannabis…

Remember…the beauty of cannabinoids is that they interact with our body’s own, natural endocannabinoid system (which many people are not even aware we have) with very little, if ANY, known side effects. And so, you may be wondering what these two rising stars may be… and, as always, I’m about to tell you!

Cannabinol

Cannabinol, or better known as CBN, is a rather unique cannabinoid. The reason for this is that it’s only created after THC degenerates. What this means is, the only way to find high quantities of CBN is in plants that have been exposed to oxygen for longer periods of time. Because of the time involved, it was enough to make CBN a bit unfavorable to farmers, retailers, and consumers alike for quite some time. Now, after more research and more recent findings of the potentials CBN can offer, new interests have been sparked in this mysterious cannabinoid.

While there isn’t a whole lot yet known about how CBN works, it seems to attach to the brain’s CB2 receptors. Current research suggests CBN works as a powerful, natural sedative. Presently, scientists are mainly interested in CBN for its potential to treat sleeping disorders such as insomnia. CBN has also been observed to result in greater sedation when combined with THC. As with other cannabinoids, CBN is showing itself to have potential anti-seizure, anti-inflammatory, and what scientists believe to be a well-documented breakthrough in the fight against antibiotic resistance. Imagine that! All of these possibilities from one small part of that plant that was deemed as evil!

This leads us to…

Cannabigerol

Cannabigerol (CBG) is a type of cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It’s often referred to as the “Mother of all Cannabinoids” because it is derived from young cannabis plants which contain the highest amounts of this cannabinoid as opposed to the plants that are fully developed. Both CBD and THC start as CBGA, the acidic form of CBG. This is why younger cannabis plants contain higher concentrations, whereas fully developed plants have higher concentrations of THC and CBD because the CBG has already been converted as the plant developed.

In our bodies, CBG imitates endocannabinoids, which, as we’ve said, are the natural compounds our body makes and is processed by the body’s endocannabinoid system. Once again, the endocannabinoid system is made up of molecules and receptors that are responsible for keeping our bodies in an optimal state, no matter what is going on in the external environment.

Here are a few examples of what CBG is believed to have a positive impact on:

Antibacterial

There are many in the medical industry that believe the CBG compound can help with various issues, including digestive disorders and eye disease. Researchers have also found this compound to have antifungal and antimicrobial properties as well. Properties so strong, in fact, it can fight off a bacterial strain like MRSA, which is known to resist antibiotics. Yes, that’s right! Something found in nature that works better than the Big Pharma pill pushers!

Inflammatory Bowel Disease
According to another review, between 15% and 40% of people who suffer from IBD, or Inflammatory Bowel Disease use cannabis and cannabinoids to increase their appetite as well as to reduce their pain. Although research is still being done, it could be quite possible that because problems within the digestive system can be stress-related, CBG, along with many other cannabinoids, reduce stress, anxiety, inflammation, and more.

And last, but certainly not the least…

Glaucoma
High eye pressure, also known as intraocular pressure, or IOP, can increase the risk of developing glaucoma. The good news is one Polish study has shown the ability of CBG to reduce eye pressure in glaucoma patients. When administered in a topical form, the presence of endocannabinoid receptors in structures of the eye responsible for the formation and outflow of aqueous humor is an explanation for the effectiveness of these compounds.

The good news is, as time goes on, more people are waking and learning about the positive benefits of this ancient plant we call C. Sativa. it is now quite obvious why so many of “The Powers That Think They Be” have kept it suppressed from us for so long. As we’ve pointed out numerous times, things grown in nature cannot be patented, therefore, they stand to lose not only billions of dollars but their entire business of “creating clients”. Think about it! This one plant alone could potentially take down the entire “Medical Industrial Complex”… Let THAT sink in!
