How many times have you heard “There is not enough scientific research” when it comes to talking about Cannabis as a remedy for many ailments and diseases? How many times have you heard “It is not FDA approved”? And how often have you heard us talk about the “Why” of these statements?
How would you feel if you found out there were many natural cures for that big “C” word we know of as Cancer and there has been all along? What if you found out one of those naturals was none other than that big, bad green plant called Cannabis? Would you be surprised?
Considering all of the research done on this amazing plant and its benefits, I find it laughable when I run across articles regurgitating information “The Powers that Think They Be” want us to believe. It is quite apparent this particular author did not dig far enough, or they were too afraid to touch on the truth. Here are a few Q & A’s from that article so you know what I mean:
- Is there any truth to the claims that CBD oil can cure cancer?
Right now, no. There is no evidence that CBD oil can cure cancer. - Have any CBD-oil-derived products been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat cancer, its symptoms, or the side effects caused by its treatment?
No. - Does CBD oil have any side effects?
CBD oil can adversely affect liver function. In fact, this is on the warning label for Epidiolex.
Well, as to the first question, that is simply not true. There is plenty of evidence. The problem is that the majority of it comes from actual people who have chosen to look for alternative solutions for treating Cancer. They self-treat and then as they heal and grow healthy again, it causes their doctors and scientists to research what the patient has managed to do for themselves. The problem? What the doctors and scientists are finding is being suppressed by none other than our very own Government, Big Pharma, the FDA, and the CDC among others in the Worldwide Alphabet Soup sludge, which answers the second question. Remember, anything grown in nature cannot be patented. If there is no patent, there is no money to be had. And, as we know, the pharmaceutical industry rakes in billions, if not trillions every year by only allowing us to use their toxic means of treatment. After all, that’s how you keep “clients” a.k.a patients coming back. Keep them sick and they keep coming back for more, right?
As for the third question, I find it interesting that the example they are using for CBD side effects is a patented FDA-approved synthetic, don’t you?
Of course, you should always, always discuss CBD and THC as treatments with your doctor before using them. With that being said, it has been proven to not have the said side effects mentioned above on its own. It is a reaction to the possible chemotherapy and other medications you are using. Um, Hello! We already know chemotherapy literally destroys your immune system. Don’t go blaming our “Wonder Drug” derived from nature on that mess!
Let’s expound on this…..
Because of the increasing public interest in the benefits of all things natural, including cannabinoids over the past few years, along with the legalization in several jurisdictions, we are learning more about Cannabis and how cannabinoids have shown to be effective in treating other various conditions. For example, in cancer, the endocannabinoid system is altered in many types of tumors and can relate to cancer prognosis and disease outcome. In addition, cannabinoids have displayed anticancer effects in several models by suppressing the proliferation, migration, and invasion of cancer cells, as well as tumor angiogenesis. Sadly, the therapeutic use of cannabinoids is currently limited to the treatment of symptoms and pain associated with chemotherapy and still requires validation in patients.
Interestingly through study, the levels of endocannabinoids have been shown to be dysregulated in malignant tissues. Early investigations into the functional implication of endocannabinoids during tumor progression demonstrated that endocannabinoids had inhibitory effects on the proliferation of breast or prostate cancer cells. Based on the preliminary evidence in various models, it seems that cannabinoids target key signaling pathways involved in all the hallmarks related to cancer. It is also worth noting that cannabinoids can complement conventional chemotherapeutic regimens by reducing some of their adverse effects such as pain, nausea, and vomiting. Of course, these wouldn’t even be an issue if chemotherapy was avoided altogether.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. In all honesty, the best way to get the most accurate information on how Cannabis can help those seeking alternative methods of treating cancer is by seeking the individuals brave enough to buck the system and relearn the natural healing ways our ancestors used that have been buried and hidden from us since the Rockefellers took over the Western Medical Industry which has managed to spread through many parts of the world.
While we in no way give medical advice, we ask you to consider thinking about how modern medicine never seems to be able to find those elusive cures…or have they? You just might find the patent office holds some rather astonishing information regarding that one!
